Nothing is collected

There is no server behind this page, no database, no accounts and no sign-up. Nothing you click is sent anywhere, and there is no way for anyone — including the person who made this — to see which gift ideas you were shown.

Stored in your browser

Two things are kept in your browser’s local storage:

• dl-wrap-paper — which wrapping paper you last chose, so you don’t have to pick it again next time.
• dl-wrap-seen — a list of which ideas you have already been shown, so you don’t get the same one twice. It contains numbers, not text.

Neither ever leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes them both, and the page carries on working without them.

Advertising

This page shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies and use them for advertising, subject to the consent choice you were offered when you arrived. You can read Google’s own account of what it collects at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. It has no access to anything described above.

Analytics

None. No page views, clicks, sessions or events are recorded by this site.
