Name: Shepherd's Salad
Ingredients: 2 tomatoes; 1 cucumber; half an onion; parsley; 1 lemon

What you need

Salt, pepper, water and oil don’t count. Mom always had those.

Dice everything small and even. Dress with lemon juice, olive oil and salt right before it goes on the table.

Chopping everything to the same size takes ages and is the entire recipe.

Dress it at the last minute. Standing around in lemon juice turns it to mush.
