Watermelon Cooler
What you need
- watermelon
- half a lemon
- 1 spoon sugar
Salt, pepper, water and oil don’t count. Mom always had those.
What you do
Blend cubed watermelon with the lemon juice and sugar, strain if you want it clear, and serve over ice.
How it feels to make
Watermelon turns almost entirely to liquid in the blender, which never stops being surprising.
Mom wrote on the back
A pinch of salt in it. Sounds mad, makes the sweetness sharper.
