Tomato Toast

What you need

• 1 slice of bread
• 1 tomato
• olive oil
• 1 clove of garlic

Salt, pepper, water and oil don’t count. Mom always had those.

What you do

Toast the bread hard. Rub the cut garlic over the rough surface, then rub the cut tomato over until the bread goes red. Salt and oil.

How it feels to make

Rubbing a tomato onto bread until it disappears feels like a trick somebody taught you.
