Sausage and Onion Skillet
What you need
- 4 sausages
- 2 onions
- 1 pepper
Salt, pepper, water and oil don’t count. Mom always had those.
What you do
Brown the sausages, take them out. Fry sliced onion and pepper in the fat until soft and sweet, then return the sausages and cover for ten minutes.
How it feels to make
Everything cooks in the same pan and you feel like you've cheated somehow.

Cook the onions in the sausage fat. Never wash that flavour down the sink.
