Egg in a Hole
What you need
- 1 slice of bread
- 1 egg
- butter
Salt, pepper, water and oil don’t count. Mom always had those.
What you do
Tear or cut a hole in the middle of the bread. Butter the pan, lay the bread down, crack the egg into the hole. Flip once when the underside is golden.
How it feels to make
The flip is the whole event. You will hold your breath.

Save the little circle you cut out and toast it too. That's the cook's piece.
