Name: Scrambled Eggs on Toast
Ingredients: 2 eggs; a splash of milk; 1 slice of bread; butter

What you need

Salt, pepper, water and oil don’t count. Mom always had those.

Beat eggs and milk. Melt butter in a cold pan, add the eggs, and stir constantly over low heat until thick and soft. Pile onto buttered toast.

Stirring for that long feels like nothing is happening, and then all at once it does.

Off the heat before you think it's done. The pan finishes the job for you.
